TEAMTom MageeTom has extensive resources and defence sector experience. He has held senior management positions in the coal, metalliferous and fertiliser sectors of the industry. He worked for WMC Resources for 10 years; firstly as the Human Resources Manager of the Olympic Dam Mine and then as the Support Services Manager for WMC Fertilizers where he was accountable for the HSEC, HR, Systems and People Logistics of a multi site operation. Having lived and worked in remote operations he is intimately familiar with the industry and quality of candidates required to operate successfully in such environments. More recently Tom has transitioned to executive search and organisational development where his experience has proved invaluable in providing practical advice to the industry. Prior to entering the mining industry Tom, who is a graduate of RMC Duntroon, spent many years in the Australian Army in a variety of regimental staff and training appointments. He counts his three years seconded to the Papua New Guinea Defence Force as one of his most interesting times in service. This experience gave him a thorough understanding of the issues involved in operating successfully in developing countries. He retains close links with the defence sector and has been a member of the Australia Defence Association Board for a number of years. |

Simon GuestSimon Guest has worked in the executive search industry both in Australia and abroad for the past six years.
